The screenplay was written by Keret and Rosenthal and is the third collaboration between the two.

The voice cast features Geoffrey Rush, Samuel Johnson, Anthony LaPaglia and Claudia Karvan.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 4, 2008.

The film’s US release is Los Angeles and NY on June 19 2009.

Synopsis
Unemployed Dave Peck wishes to find the meaning of life. Finding it in a book he purchases “for the low price of $9.99″, he seeks to share this knowledge with his neighbours.
