Plot
The movie stars Amy Adams as Anna who travels all the way to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) on February 29, leap day.

According to Irish legend a man who is proposed to on a leap day must accept. While midflight to Dublin, there is a storm and they must divert to Cardiff. Anna enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper, Declan (Matthew Goode), to make an unexpected cross-country trek across land and water to pull off the perfect proposal in time but will Anna change her mind along the way?
